West Ham has reportedly set their sights on Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka as their top priority to address their right-back issues.

During the summer transfer window, West Ham expressed interest in signing Wan-Bissaka, but the move didn’t materialize, and the player remained at Old Trafford.

After suffering an injury in September, Wan-Bissaka recently returned to action, featuring in full matches against Fulham and FC Copenhagen but missed the Luton Town game due to illness.

According to Football Transfers, West Ham is eager to secure Wan-Bissaka’s services in the upcoming January window, and the player is not entirely against the idea of leaving Manchester United if the opportunity arises.

There’s uncertainty surrounding Vladimir Coufal’s future at West Ham, as the club is hesitant to offer him a contract extension. Negotiations with Ben Johnson have also hit a roadblock, with the player’s representatives and the club yet to reach an agreement on a new deal.

Sources suggest that a potential January move for Wan-Bissaka might be in the works, despite interest from Crystal Palace, his former club.

It’s believed that West Ham presents a more appealing option for Wan-Bissaka compared to a return to Crystal Palace, where he spent three seasons previously.

Furthermore, West Ham is actively pursuing Wolves’ Nelson Semedo as an alternative to potentially replace Coufal.
