Leeds, Sheffield United, and Everton all inquired about Souttar, but the Foxes were hesitant to bolster a potential promotion rival during the winter window. City’s preference was a permanent sale, while Leeds proposed a loan deal for the Australian international.
Souttar, tied to King Power Stadium until June 2028, came with a reported £15m price tag for the Foxes. Despite accumulating 64 appearances for City, he finds himself on the periphery.
