Journalist Dean Jones, speaking to Give Me Sport, suggested that the prospect of Moyes’ continued leadership might be a factor in Steidten’s potential departure to a club like Liverpool, which is regarded as one of the most prestigious opportunities in football. Turning down an offer from such a club, Jones argues, would be a difficult decision for anyone.
