Daniel Farke has provided an update on the injury front as Leeds United gears up for their clash against Leicester City.

Farke faced the last weekend’s 2-0 win at Plymouth Argyle without six key players but received positive news regarding Jaidon Anthony’s return after his absence due to personal reasons.
However, the most surprisingly optimistic news emerged regarding Patrick Bamford, initially sidelined for 10-12 days. Despite his last-minute withdrawal from the warm-up in the 4-0 victory over Swansea City, there’s now a slim chance he might feature earlier than anticipated against Leicester.
Farke expressed, “Patrick has shown positive progress in recent days. It may not be realistic for him to feature in this game, but with 48 hours to go, who knows? While he’s yet to join team training, he could potentially be an option for the squad. He’ll definitely be available for next week, but there’s a slight chance for an earlier return.”
Bamford’s potential return would greatly boost Leeds, considering his exceptional form before the injury. Nonetheless, given his history of injuries, Farke will exercise caution to prevent any setbacks.
Leeds has coped admirably in Bamford’s absence, with Joel Piroe stepping up with a goal and an assist in the last two matches, bolstering his confidence.
