“Moyes Said West Ham Deal Awaits His Signature, Yet He’s Holding Back – What’s the Real Reason?”

David Moyes has revealed that although West Ham has proposed a new contract to him, he has chosen to defer his decision on his future with the club until the season concludes.

The deal, which is rumored to extend through 2026, has been on the table since the latter part of last year. However, following significant defeats to Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool, there’s been speculation about the club’s management reconsidering their stance.

During a press briefing on Friday, Moyes clarified that the delay in signing the contract is his own choice, not the board’s hesitance.

“I’ve engaged in positive discussions with the owners, David [Sullivan] and Karren Brady,” Moyes shared with the media. “The contract is ready for me, but I’ve opted to wait until the season’s end before making a decision.”
