“NO WAY! Journalist Exposes Daily Record’s Fake News Attack on Bernabei as Outright Deception!”

An Argentine journalist has criticized two of his peers at the Daily Record for publishing a misleading headline about Celtic player Alexandro Bernabei. The headline on the website read: “Alexandro Bernabei couldn’t WAIT to leave Celtic as he targets Brazilian revival to show Rodgers what he’s missing.”

The sub-heading suggested that Bernabei was not happy at Celtic, but the quotes used in the article tell a different story. Bernabei expressed his excitement about returning to South American football with Internacional and his commitment to giving his all for the team. Nowhere did he indicate a desire to leave Celtic or to show Brendan Rodgers what he’s missing.

The headline drew ire from fellow journalist Seba Ongarelli from Bernabei’s homeland. He criticized the Daily Record for misleading reporting and creating unnecessary drama. Celtic fans also voiced their support for Bernabei.

Critics have pointed out that the headline appears to be click-bait rather than accurate reporting. This incident reflects poorly on the editorial standards of the once-respected Scottish newspaper, with some questioning when was the last time anyone actually bought a copy of the Daily Record.
