“Rare Celtic Memorabilia Worn by Iconic Club Legends Now Available in Biggest Auction Event Ever!”

A treasure trove of Celtic’s historical medals and trophies, honoring club legends, is ready to hit the auction block next month, marking one of the most extensive collections of its kind.

Dubbed as ‘The Celtic Story’ auction, the event at McTear’s in Glasgow on April 11 is poised to captivate fans of the hoops worldwide. This unique assembly of 70 items showcases prestigious awards granted to revered figures like Dan Doyle, Johnny Thomson, Chic Geatons, John Bonnar, Jimmy Johnstone, and Paul McStay.

The assortment promises an opportunity for enthusiasts to acquire coveted memorabilia, including 12 League champions, six Scottish Cup holders, and four League Cup victors’ medals. Among the array are Glasgow and Glasgow Charity Cup medals, notable for including Jimmy Johnstone’s 1963/64 Glasgow Cup medal, considered his breakthrough senior honor at Celtic.

Noteworthy pieces encompass an 1888 International Exhibition Medal commemorating Celtic’s inaugural year and first cup final, a 1938 Empire Exhibition trophy, a 1953 Coronation Cup trophy, multiple medals bestowed upon Jimmy Johnstone, and a 2003 UEFA Cup medal.
