Ahead of the highly anticipated game, Rangers’ manager, Philippe Clement, shared his insights in an interview, shedding light on his adaptation to Scottish football and his unique perspective on Celtic’s fanbase.
Reflecting on the Scottish football environment, Clement emphasized the profound respect he has observed among fans, describing them as ‘respectful’. However, he noted that Celtic fans, on certain occasions, can be ‘a little bit less [respectful]’. Philippe Clement assumed the managerial role at Rangers in October 2023 following the departure of former head coach Michael Beale. Since then, the 50-year-old ex-Belgium international has proven his worth, securing an impressive record of 26 wins in 33 games with the Gers, along with four draws and three losses.
Having previously managed prominent teams like Monaco, KRC Genk, and Club Brugge, Clement brings a wealth of experience to his role at Rangers.
