Unimaginable Outrage: Four Lads Slam Simon Jordan in Explosive Response to Rangers v Dundee Drama

April 11, 2024

In a recent rebuttal to Simon Jordan’s remarks about the scheduling of the Rangers-Dundee match, the group Four Lads Had A Dream addressed the accusations on their private Twitter account. Jordan had suggested that Rangers could have played Dundee before their Old Firm clash, insinuating that it was the Ibrox club’s decision not to do so.

Four Lads dismissed these claims, stating that there was no feasible option for the game to take place before the Celtic fixture due to the unplayable condition of the pitch. Despite Rangers’ efforts to propose alternative solutions such as playing on various dates, at different venues, or reversing the fixture, all suggestions were rejected as “unacceptable.”

The group expressed bewilderment at the accusations aimed at Rangers, emphasizing that the responsibility for the Dundee pitch controversy lies with the club and the SPFL, not with Rangers. They highlighted the inconsistency in the treatment of Dens Park compared to Tannadice in coping with adverse weather conditions.

Emphasizing Rangers’ eagerness to play the match promptly to secure the points and reclaim the top spot in the SPFL table, Four Lads criticized Jordan’s comments on talkSPORT as unfounded and attempts to shift blame towards Ibrox, rather than acknowledging the mismanagement by Dundee and the SPFL.
