Club have placed Leicester man ‘top of their list’ for January transfer – Need third club to agree to deal

According to reports from Il Mattino via CalcioNapoli24, Napoli has set its sights on Leicester City’s Boubakary Soumaré for the upcoming winter transfer window.

With André Zambo Anguissa representing Cameroon at the AFCON in January, Napoli’s manager Walter Mazzarri seeks a replacement in the holding midfield position. Soumaré is reportedly the top choice for this role.

Napoli faces a potential hurdle as Soumaré is currently on loan at Sevilla, where he has been a key figure, featuring in 12 matches across various competitions this season. Any move will require agreement from both the Spanish club and the player’s current team, Leicester. Therefore, the path to securing Soumaré’s services for Napoli appears to be a complex one at this stage.
