Luton’s Friday Trip to Plymouth Unleashed as TV Swaps Rattle Fanbases in Four Town Matches

Luton Town’s inaugural Premier League campaign has already garnered significant attention, with the EFL announcing four more matches to be broadcast live.

The Hatters’ opening fixture against Burnley, already moved to Monday, August 12 for Sky Sports coverage, will be joined by four further televised games.

The first away trip of the season to Portsmouth on Saturday, August 17 will kick off at 12.30pm, providing a nationwide showcase for the newly promoted side. Their second home match, a Friday night clash against QPR on August 30, is also set for television, with an 8pm start.

Following the first international break, Sky’s main channel will broadcast Luton’s visit to Millwall on Saturday, September 14, also at 12.30pm. Finally, the long trip to Plymouth Argyle on Friday, September 27 has been rescheduled for an 8pm kick-off and will be televised.

The Hatters have welcomed the EFL’s transparency regarding fixture changes, stating on their website that fans will be notified of all schedule adjustments up to the FA Cup third round by the start of the 2024/25 season.

With a busy schedule and their maiden Premier League season in sight, Luton Town fans can look forward to several opportunities to witness their team’s exploits on the national stage.
