Jayden Bogle Drops Bombshell on Sheffield United Supporters with Jaw-Dropping Explanation of “Huge” Transfer to Leeds United

Jayden Bogle bid an emotional farewell to Sheffield United as he confirmed his move to Leeds United last night. The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract with Leeds, with the transfer valued at approximately £5 million plus add-ons. Bogle, who was in the final year of his contract at Bramall Lane, missed United’s friendly against Chesterfield on Saturday as the transfer was being finalized.

Manager Chris Wilder disclosed that Bogle had expressed a desire to join Leeds, and the defender will now join Daniel Farke’s squad on their pre-season tour in Germany. Bogle’s journey with United began four years ago when he and Max Lowe were signed from Derby County. This summer, both players have departed, with Lowe joining Sheffield Wednesday.

In an Instagram post, Bogle reflected on his time with Sheffield United: “Over the past four years, I’ve made some amazing memories on and off the pitch. I want to thank the staff, the fans, and the club for giving me the chance to play at Bramall Lane and for my first Premier League experience. To my teammates, we shared incredible moments through the highs and lows. I’ve made friends for life and appreciate all the support. I wish the club the best for the future. Thank you, JB.”

During his tenure at Bramall Lane, Bogle scored 12 goals in 103 appearances. Wilder commented on Bogle’s departure, saying, “Jayden made it clear that he saw his future elsewhere. When that happens, it’s important to secure the best deal for our club. It’s disappointing to lose him, but we move forward. He ran his contract down, which made things challenging.”

Bogle described his move to Leeds as “amazing,” stating: “It’s a fantastic feeling to join such a massive club with great opportunities. I can’t wait to get started. When I heard about the interest, I knew this was where I wanted to be. It’s a fantastic team with great staff, and I’m excited to give my all for the club and create history together. We’ll approach every game with the intent to win, and playing in big matches helps players perform at their best.”
