Jacob Widell Zetterstrom has addressed his future amid transfer rumors linking him to Derby County.
The Rams are in the market for a new goalkeeper as they prepare for their return to the Championship. Reports suggest they have struck a deal with Djurgardens for Zetterstrom, valued at 20 million krona (£1.4m).
The 26-year-old has fueled speculation about his potential move to Pride Park. Speaking to Swedish media about his future, he said, “England is the country of dreams; I’ve followed English football all my life.” When asked if he has played his last game for Djurgardens ahead of a potential move to Derby, Zetterstrom added, “I know as little as you do. I have full focus here. That’s all I have to say.”
Meanwhile, Derby County confirmed their sixth summer signing on Wednesday, bringing in Crystal Palace midfielder David Ozoh on a season-long loan. The 19-year-old England youth international joins new arrivals Ben Osborn, Kayden Jackson, Jerry Yates, Kenzo Goudmijn, and Ebou Adams ahead of the new campaign.
