Fabrizio Romano confirms EPL Club have opened discussions to SIGN sensational star linked with Spurs move

Fabrizio Romano has indicated that Manchester United have initiated discussions with the agents of widely rumored Tottenham target, Serhou Guirassy, regarding a prospective January transfer.

Notably, Guirassy has emerged as one of the standout strikers across the continent in the past year, positioning himself just four goals behind Harry Kane in the intense race for the Bundesliga Golden Boot this season.

With a release clause of a mere €17.5m (£15m) incorporated in his contract, it comes as no surprise that a number of Premier League clubs, including Spurs (as reported by TEAMtalk), are meticulously monitoring the 27-year-old center-forward.

Just a short while ago, The Sun revealed that despite Manchester United’s expressed interest in the Guinean international, the player has purportedly indicated a preference to join Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over Old Trafford in the upcoming month.

The publication further elaborated that upon learning of the Stuttgart star’s inclination, the Red Devils had reportedly shifted their focus towards Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri.

However, Romano has indicated that there is no indication of Manchester United’s interest in En-Nesyri, hinting that Erik Ten Hag’s side continues to pursue a potential deal for Guirassy.

Romano shared with CaughtOffside, “As of now, I haven’t encountered any information regarding a prospective Manchester United move for Youssef En-Nesyri.”

He continued, “I have previously mentioned names such as Donyell Malen, Serhou Guirassy, and Timo Werner because I am aware that Manchester United have engaged in talks with their representatives. I’m confident that the race remains open, and no definitive decisions have been made.”
