Explosive Transfer Showdown: West Ham and Newcastle Battle Over £60m BRIGHTON Star Given Green Light to Exit as Leeds’ Hopes Hang in the Balance

Brighton and Hove Albion have placed a loan list for the young forward Evan Ferguson for West Ham and Newcastle United. However, Leeds United’s chance of siging the talented striker is fading.

Although the Scottish international played only one premier league game for Brighton this season, feroguson had impressive performance at the later part of 2022/23 season where he scored 10 goal in his 25 appearances. The Republic of Ireland international craves more first-team action and is reportedly considering a switch on the transfer deadline day to Leicester City, Fulham, West Ham and Newcastle.

There are rumours, which suggest that Leeds is keen on Ferguson however it seems that he will return to a Premier League club on loan. Chelsea has kept its interest in the youngster intact and the club is ready to work with him to regain form even if the youngster has had his fair shares of struggles with injury prone.

Brighton is not willing a give Ferguson a permanent deal away mainly because he is considered an important academy player who may only need a little push to regain his prime form. While return to Leeds may guarantee him a regular starting spot, a loan to the Premier League is far more likely at this point.

Newcastle has been linked with Paraguay international all summer, and moving him has been tough but the magpies could be on the cusp of completing a deal for the 30-year-old.

Real Madrid has been linked with a move for Nayef Aguerd because of his stellar performances for Real Sociedad, on loan from West Ham.
