Sunderland has suffered a five game winless streak but Regis Le Bris does not seem too worried about it. After the draw against West Bromwich Albion, to his players Osval Le Bris just repeated the opinion that in the difficult moments, it is necessary to always consider the experienced loss and to pay attention only at the advantages.
Sunderland came close to improving their fortunes against West Brom with a number of chances to snatch a win. Wilson Isidor then believed he had got on the scoresheet mid through the second half but was cut short after the referee made a perfect offside call. Although there were occasions whereby the team displayed dominance they never seemed to exert meaningful pressure.
Although they began the season well and posed telling threats in the attack line, Sunderland has not been so favourable in the recent games scoring just three goals in their last five matches. Despite their performance lately, Boro’ is still positioned near the top of the table, and their last chance in November to beat Sheffield United speaks volumes for them.
Le Bris on the other hand is optimistic what with the current matches they have been playing. The team has proved to be very flexible depending on different playing styles and circumstances and very solid.
Despite of the injuries and suspension within the team, Le Bris has acknowledged the players’ endeavors in maintaining their emotions balanced a particular tough time. He agrees with most of them but adds that it can sometimes be hard to keep everybody cheerful when you have high expectations.
Le Bris shows enthusiasm during the organisation and practice often attributing positive thoughts to times within the dressing room. Despite that he tries to inspire the team to think positively, he remains consistent in praising the team and the improvements they have achieved.
In the last few games Sunderland has impressed having been on a 10-match undefeated streak, even though all these matches were draws this month. Every time the team suffered a set back the members stood up again this has pleased the boss because this indicates that there is improvement in the future. Sunderland may not be disappointed with another draw when they play in the top three, against Sheffield United, who have an excellent home form.
