“HE’S INCREDIBLE!” CRYSTAL PALACE PLOT DESTRUCTIVE £30,000,000 MOVE FOR MAN CITY’S OSCAR BOBB AS GLASNER DEMANDS FIREPOWER AFTER FA CUP HUMILIATION!

Crystal Palace may be ready to open discussions this week over the signing of a highly rated Premier League attacker, with Oliver Glasner determined to add more firepower to his squad.

Palace moved quickly at the start of the January window by bringing in Brennan Johnson, who made his first appearance in the FA Cup defeat to Macclesfield after coming on at the interval. The winger was unable to change the course of the match, as the holders suffered a stunning 2-1 loss to the non-league side.

Glasner was visibly frustrated by his team’s attacking display after the game, admitting he was at a loss to explain the lack of chances and physical presence in the final third. With the Eagles now without a win in nine matches in all competitions, further reinforcements in attack appear increasingly likely before the window closes.

A new report from TEAMtalk suggests Palace are preparing for key talks this week regarding Marc Guehi’s future, with Manchester City expected to be involved in the discussions. As part of those negotiations, Oscar Bobb could enter the conversation, with Palace known to be admirers of the 22-year-old forward. Bobb is believed to be available for around £30 million.

City’s recent signing of Antoine Semenyo has raised questions about Bobb’s role in Pep Guardiola’s plans, potentially opening the door to a move away. Nathan Ake may also be mentioned during talks, given the uncertainty surrounding Guehi’s situation at Selhurst Park.

Bobb has struggled for regular starts at the Etihad even before picking up a hamstring injury in December, often being used from the bench. At his age, consistent minutes are crucial, and opportunities may become even more limited following City’s latest attacking additions.

Despite setbacks, the Norway international has been praised by Guardiola as an “incredible” talent and has already shown his quality in both domestic and European competitions. After having his progress slowed by a broken leg last season, Bobb now looks ready for a fresh challenge. A move to Palace could offer the platform he needs to fulfil his potential and give Glasner a dynamic new option in attack.
