Henrik Larsson will always and forever be one true Celtic legend.
The Swede is probably the only genuine world-class striker Celtic have ever had in the modern era and he spent seven glorious years in Paradise.
Named the King of Kings by an adoring Celtic support, Larsson’s career never got off to the best start as he had a bit of a nightmare debut.

Giving the ball away to Chick Charnley at Hibs doomed Celtic to an opening day defeat in a season where Rangers were chasing ten-in-a-row.
A defeat to Dunfermline the following week had people raising serious questions about Celtic legend Wim Jansen too. But the rest, as they say, is history.
However, it wasn’t these games that Larsson regrets as he speaks to another ex-Celtic man Roy Keane about his time in Glasgow.
Henrik Larsson will ‘never get over’ UEFA Cup final defeat vs Porto
Larsson has never hidden the fact that Celtic’s defeat to Porto in the 2003 UEFA Cup final was one of the low points of his career.
The super-Swede scored a double and almost won the game single-handedly for Celtic but a 3-2 defeat broke Larsson and the entire Celtic support’s hearts.
Roy Keane asked Larsson on Stick to Football, “Any big disappointments with Celtic? What’s the huge disappointments you’d have at Celtic?.
Larsson replied, “Yeah, whenever we didn’t win the league. I think the biggest one you know is the European final against Porto. Still tough to talk about.”
“Tough, I think Martin still hasn’t got over it,” Keane said.
Larsson said, “No, I don’t think anybody really will ever get over it. It was so many, I had a lot of friends down there. My father was down there when he was alive.”
