“European giants Joins Race for beast player Radu Dragusin, Threatening Tottenham, Napoli, and AC Milan’s Transfer Plans.

Bundesliga titans Bayern Munich have jumped into the fray alongside Tottenham Hotspur, Napoli, and AC Milan in the pursuit of Radu Dragusin, intensifying the battle for the defender’s signature.

While the January transfer market has been relatively subdued, Spurs have been notably active, nearing the loan signing of former Chelsea forward Timo Werner from RB Leipzig. Fabrizio Romano’s update on Monday hinted at Werner’s imminent arrival at Tottenham, confirming the loan deal and an option to buy for €18/19 million.

Despite this impending signing, Spurs are not done yet. Center-back reinforcements remain a priority for Ange Postecoglou following injuries to Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero. Initially linked with OGC Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo, Spurs have shifted their focus to Genoa’s standout Dragusin, touted as their ‘top target.’

However, the race for Dragusin’s signature has heated up, with Serie A rivals AC Milan and Napoli vying for the defender. Now, Bayern Munich has reportedly entered negotiations, displaying a keen interest in acquiring Dragusin in January.

Romanian outlet Gazeta Sporturilor (via Bayern & Germany on Twitter) disclosed Bayern’s aggressive approach, stating that the German giants are undeterred by Genoa’s €30 million valuation, showcasing their willingness to secure Dragusin’s services immediately.

Yet, German journalist Florian Plettenberg believes Tottenham and Napoli hold stronger prospects in securing Dragusin. Plettenberg highlighted both clubs as the ‘most concrete options,’ shedding light on Bayern’s recent interest and the potential €25 million transfer fee plus bonuses.

Postecoglou expressed a preference for early business ahead of the January window, emphasizing the importance of swiftly integrating new signings into the team’s style of play. The manager’s desire for early transfers aims to mitigate potential delays in adaptation and integration into the squad.

With the transfer race heating up, Spurs face heightened competition in securing Dragusin’s services, prompting a potential challenge in their pursuit for early acquisitions.”
