Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of star player Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea has received a boost as a reliable source has ruled out any interest from Manchester United. Chalobah was previously linked with a move to Bayern in the summer, but talks fell through due to conflicting transfer desires. Despite remaining at Stamford Bridge, Chalobah has yet to make an appearance this season due to injury. With stiff competition for playing time at Chelsea, it is unlikely he will see much action under manager Mauricio Pochettino. As a result, rival clubs including Tottenham, Manchester United, Bayern, and Borussia Dortmund have all been linked with a potential move for Chalobah.

Tottenham has emerged as a possible destination for the 24-year-old in the upcoming January transfer window. Manager Ange Postecoglou is in need of defensive reinforcements and is reportedly targeting Chalobah. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Tottenham will not face competition from Manchester United for Chalobah, as United is focused on other defensive targets. Romano also stated that Chelsea has made a firm decision to offload Chalobah, making it likely that he will leave Stamford Bridge in the upcoming transfer window.

Chalobah’s future remains uncertain as interest from a number of clubs continues to swirl. However, it is clear that Tottenham’s pursuit has received a boost with Manchester United out of the picture, leaving them to focus on securing Chalobah’s services.
