Horatiu Moldovan in Shock Celtic Transfer Talk as Furious Atletico Rebel Forces Madrid Escape After Just Six Turbulent Months!

Disgruntled goalkeeper Horatiu Moldovan has expressed his desire to depart from Atletico Madrid, just months after joining the club, sparking renewed interest from Celtic.

With Brendan Rodgers in search of a new goalkeeper this summer following Joe Hart’s retirement, Moldovan could potentially be a target for the Scottish champions. While names like Martin Dubravka and Peter Vindahl Jensen have been linked with Celtic, Moldovan’s situation at Atletico could present a new opportunity for the club.

Despite making the move from Rapid Bucharest to Atletico in January, Moldovan has found himself benched in favor of Jan Oblak. Voicing his frustration in a podcast interview, the Romanian international expressed his desire to leave the Spanish club to seek playing time elsewhere.

“I want to leave Atletico Madrid in the summer or winter,” Moldovan stated. “I definitely want to leave to play. If a good team from a big league presents itself to me, then I want to go. We will see what offers appear. You can’t reject (the chance to sign for) Atletico. But I want to play.”

With Moldovan’s future uncertain at Atletico, Celtic could potentially reignite their interest in the goalkeeper as they continue their search for a new No. 1. As Moldovan aims to secure more playing time, a move to Celtic could be on the cards if the opportunity presents itself.
