Celtic has expressed interest in potentially acquiring Bristol City’s center-forward Tommy Conway, aiming to fill the void left by retired goalkeeper Joe Hart by making a formal approach to sign Martin Dubravka from Newcastle United. Additionally, they have set their sights on Salernitana defender Flavius Daniliuc and are keen to secure the services of loan star Adam Idah from Norwich City following his impressive loan spell with the club.

The latest player linked with a move to Celtic Park is Dundee midfielder Luke McCowan. Reports from Sky Sports suggest that Celtic is monitoring the 26-year-old as he nears the final year of his current contract. McCowan’s contractual situation presents an opportunity for Celtic to land him at a reduced price, considering Dundee’s potential need to sell him to avoid losing him for free next year. Despite being a key player for Dundee in their 6th-place finish last season, losing McCowan would undoubtedly be a setback for the club.

McCowan’s possible arrival could pose a challenge for Celtic’s Daizen Maeda as both players occupy a similar position on the field. After McCowan outperformed Maeda in the SPFL last season, Rodgers might consider integrating the new signing into the squad, potentially displacing the 26-year-old Maeda from his attacking-midfield role.
