Leeds United goalkeeper Lucas Perri is on the verge of completing a move to Torino, with negotiations entering their final stages before the player travels to Italy.

Perri saw his playing time diminish at Elland Road last season and faces further competition following Leeds United’s acquisition of James Trafford from Manchester City. With his prospects limited to a backup role, the Brazilian goalkeeper has actively pursued a transfer. While a broad agreement between the two clubs has been established, a few key details remain unresolved.

According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, the proposed deal involves an initial loan structured with an €11 million option to buy. The current point of discussion revolves around Torino’s payment terms should the move become permanent. Additionally, Leeds United are attempting to secure a sell-on clause, though the exact percentage is still being negotiated.

Despite these ongoing discussions, Perri is expected to land in Turin shortly to undergo medical tests.

A transition to Serie A presents an opportunity for the 28-year-old shot-stopper to secure regular starting minutes. Torino, now under the management of Ignazio Abate, offer a stable environment where Perri can re-establish himself as a primary goalkeeper.
