Rangers have officially completed their 11th summer signing of a hectic transfer window, backing manager Derek McInnes with the acquisition of Serbian international right-back Kosta Nedeljković from Aston Villa.

The 20-year-old defender arrives in Glasgow on an initial season-long loan deal containing a permanent purchase obligation valued at £4 million (€4.7m), which is tied to appearance milestones. Nedeljković spent time on loan at Bundesliga side RB Leipzig and becomes the second Serbian player to walk through the doors at Ibrox this window, joining compatriot Vanja Dragojević.

McInnes has been vocal about adding a dynamic, offensive outlet down the right flank to complement the squad. With the club also bringing in names like James Penrice, Ivor Pandur, and captain Lawrence Shankland earlier in the window, the Light Blues are leaving nothing to chance as they reshape their squad to challenge for domestic honors.

The announcement comes right on the heels of a dominant 5-1 League Cup thrashing of St Mirren. As Rangers gear up for their next fixtures, fans are eager to see how the new-look squad gels under McInnes following a massive summer overhaul.
