Mathematically, Leicester could still climb as high as 13th with maximum points from their remaining games, though this depends on results elsewhere. The reality, however, suggests a club struggling to find the consistency required for Championship survival.
A drop to League One would represent Leicester’s first appearance in English football’s third tier since 2008/09, completing a remarkable fall from grace for a club that competed in European competition just three seasons ago.
