Snooker icon John Higgins is throwing his full weight behind Celtic’s championship bid, pairing his support with a playful jab at rivals Rangers.
As a lifelong fan of the Parkhead side, Higgins remains confident that the Hoops can clinch the league trophy. Despite entering the final stretch of the season as underdogs, he believes a perfect run could see them retain their crown.
His logic is straightforward: Celtic have five matches left on the calendar, and if they secure maximum points, the title is within reach. While the math is simple, the veteran acknowledges that recent form suggests the path will be anything but easy.
